Soapstone pencils are wonderful tools for marking and sketching
on ornaments ... and on wood surfaces too! The stone itself (called a
"crayon") is about 5" long and sits inside an aluminum case. By unscrewing
the end of the case, you can replace the crayon ... or take it out of the
case for sharpening. (I sharpen mine in my electric pencil sharpener.)
This pencil should be an essential tool in your painting kit.
