Supplies for Painting Lace

I've had a difficult time finding ornament stock that I thought was worthy of passing along to you this year, but I do have a few, really nice ornaments to offer. These beautiful 10cm ornaments are from The Czech Republic and have a deep, rich matte finish. They're a bit spendy, but worth every single penny. Colors may vary slightly. Ornaments are $4.50 each and are sold in boxes of six -- colors can be mixed, subject to availability. Shipping is estimated at $9.85 for box of six, US Priority mail with mandatory insurance. Contact me for other shipping options, if desired.
Rafael quill brushes are absolutely the best brushes for stroke work that I've found so far. They're spendy and I don't always have them in stock. With this "cadillac" of brushes, you'll want to be very careful to take special care of this brush!

Rafael Quill, size 2 - $20.00

Soapstone pencils are wonderful tools for marking and sketching on ornaments ... and on wood surfaces too! The stone itself (called a "crayon") is about 5" long and sits inside an aluminum case. By unscrewing the end of the case, you can replace the crayon ... or take it out of the case for sharpening. (I sharpen mine in my electric pencil sharpener.) This pencil should be an essential tool in your painting kit.
